Textcast: High School Edition

Busy week ladies and gents,

I finished another page in the book over the long weekend, then started the next one!

The page that started with the Kitchen pain in the butt panel is OVER…here it is…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I put Chase’s Mom in Scrubs because well, she’s a nurse and ses going to usually be on-call leaving our hero with lots of time to go do hero stuff!

So now that page is done I started to crack out the next page which was a complicated shot. I had to find a good High School as a model and thanks to google image search I think I found a good one. So I cracked it out and hopefully it looks ok. I cant wait to see it with inks.

 

So that was my week in Synergy!

When I last left you I was going to NYC to meet Y2J and it was a great time I must say…He was pretty awesome and I think my wife fell in love with him, so overall it was a great day!

So in between reading Undisputed (Jericho’s book) and playing Uncharted 2…I am all un-ed out!

I also contributed to my friends at Shamoozal.com for their Art Tuesday project…This week we had to do a Blind Contour, which is basically you have to look at the picture while you draw and you cannot look at the paper you are drawing on at all…just draw while looking at the picture.

The picture we had to use was Scrooge McDuck, this one to be exact…

Anyway tonight is a short one as tomorrow I get to meet one of my all time heroes and I have to go to NYC  to do so!

I am coming out of the worst weekend ever (some teen ho smashed into my wifes parked car and totaled it…) and back to business.

I have also gone back to doing Art Tuesday on my friend Phil’s website Shamoozal.com…

We are doing a new art project every week and this past week was to draw Batman in 60 seconds. Instead of just taking a picture of mine I decided to test out that new HD cam I told you cats about last week.

I now bring you said video!

Texcast: Kitchen Edition

Hola Peeps,

Last week after I wrote up the Progress Edition, I decided to test out the webcam site we have on Ustream with my Android phone as the Webcam and it totally worked. I really liked drawing on cam and hearing people commenting and I think they enjoyed it as well. I think I am going to get a real webcam that has HD capabilites and stuff so I can broadcast maybe once a week…No worries I will keep you posted.

On the live stream I ended up finishing the page I was working on during the Progress Edition (well everything but the letters on the headstone…)

So thats it for that page…So I moved on to the next which involved me doing a kitchen scene…I will just tell you now I have never once plotted out a kitchen before so hopefully it’s ok.
